DigiFlex Distribution Exclusivity in Providing DigiPro Die Cut Label Finishing Equipment DigiFlex announces business agreement with Austik
further enhancing the Digital Turn-Key Solution
DigiFlex Distribution announces today, an agreement with Austik, to design and manufacture the Digi ProCut Semi-Rotary Die Cutter and Laminating System. Austik’s line of semi-rotary die cutters including the Diamond 10 and Diamond 13 laminating/die converting equipment will be enhanced specifically to create the DigiFlex Distribution ProCut Series of die cutters. Austik’s engineers have improved the performance, speed and operational functions to create a newly designed laminating die cutter. This newly modified and enhanced version of the Diamond Series has been branded as DigiFlex Distribution’s Digi ProCut. Austik and DigiFlex will continue to work on additional designs to enhance the Austik Diamond Series and improve machine performance, speed, and ease of operation to accommodate and extenuate the performance of the Oki Pro510, Apex 1290 and Primera CX1200 digital printing press'; as well as providing an excellent and affordable die cutting solution to other digital and blank label die cutting production. The DigiFlex ProCut is designed with a semi-rotary cutting station that utilizes magnetic cylinder and plates; the ProCut’s technology enables precise cutting results, even on intricate shapes, that digital cutters cannot match. In addition, its ability to optimize cutting and registration accuracy makes this die cutting equipment the best in its class. “The Austik technology is a perfect fit for the digital print technology that not only DigiFlex offers but for other label finishing solutions as well. As part of the development agreement with Austik, the Digi ProCut Series will consist of three custom designed machines with web widths of 13”, 10”, and 6”, along with the option of a finishing sheeter to complete the Digi ProCut Die Cut Finishing Equipment Line. DigiFlex Distribution will warehouse complete inventory of spare parts and supplies for the ProCut series of semi-rotary die cutters and will supply additional technical support and installation of the DigiFlex ProCut Series. Choosing Austik’s engineering and industry leading knowledge of affordable semi-rotary finishing equipment was critical in the design of the Digi ProCut. Our collaborative engineering with Austik was used to create the optimum mid range finisher for digital print finishing system. The DigiFlex ProCut fills the void of short and medium runs and is a preferred solution to digital label converting and finishing.
